No. I also work with business owners on how company and trust structures connect to personal wealth and super. With your accountant, I plan how profits move from the business into your name or into super, with the least tax.
Formally every 12 months. I also review after trigger events such as a change to tax or super rules, a property sale, an inheritance, or a large market move. Each review checks your asset mix, structures, and tax position.
AFP® is a professional designation from the Financial Advice Association of Australia (FAAA) (opens in a new tab). Holders meet the FAAA’s education and professional standards. Separately, under Section 961B (opens in a new tab) of the Corporations Act 2001 (opens in a new tab), every financial adviser must act in your best interests. You can check any adviser on ASIC’s Financial Advisers Register (opens in a new tab) before booking.
It may, if your total super balance is above $3 million. Division 296 (opens in a new tab) started on 1 July 2026. It adds 15% tax on earnings linked to the part of your balance between $3 million and $10 million. Earnings linked to the part above $10 million attract a further 10%. Unrealised gains are not taxed. Super can still be the lower-tax option, so I compare staying in super with holding assets outside it.

Lower tax leaves more of your earnings invested.

I use a psychometric risk questionnaire and look at the return you need to reach your goals. Together they show how much risk you’re comfortable with and how much you need to take. Where the two differ, we discuss the trade-off before investing.
There’s no set minimum. Wealth management suits high-net-worth individuals, and also households aged 35 to 50 on high incomes. If you have several properties, an SMSF, a business, or a complicated tax position, wealth management advice can save more than it costs.
Investment advice covers which assets to buy, such as shares or ETFs. Wealth management covers the whole picture: tax structures, debt, property, super, asset protection, and estate planning. Each decision is checked against the others.
